Profile:
Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing VCST’s quality strategy at the plant level, ensuring defect-free products and processes. This includes managing quality systems, leading audits, and acting as a primary contact for customers and suppliers regarding quality matters. A key focus will be on the proper application of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP) and fostering continuous improvement within the team.
Tasks for Quality Manager:
- Implement and oversee VCST’s quality strategy at the plant level.
- Manage and coordinate quality processes, including APQP, PPAP, and audits.
- Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer and supplier interactions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IATF 16949.
- Lead the application of core quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and standards, including IATF 16949.
- Experience in managing APQP, PPAP, and other core quality processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
