Software Test Engineer
Our client designs and develops AI-driven, software-defined, and hardware-enabled autonomous systems for defense and security applications. Their software platform uses artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and edge computing to provide real-time situational awareness for air, land, and sea domains, enabling rapid decisions at machine speed. Their cutting-edge technology is utilized by customers across the defense, national security, government, marine, and critical infrastructure protection markets worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining software-based test solutions for our real-time AI/ML image processing systems
- Continuously ameliorate SW-QA processes by enhancing the process requirements and metrics
- Ensure the optimization of the software tool chain to provide the best possible environment for our development team
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to perform software risk management
- Implement automated integration and system tests
- Analyze software problems and propose solutions together with our cross-functional team
REQUIREMENTS:
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a similar field, or vocational training as an IT specialist
- You are proficient with programming languages and bring excellent knowledge of Python
- You are familiar with Linux environments
- You have experience in integrating automated tests into a test framework
- You ideally have first-hand experience with GitLab pipelines, Docker, and Pytest. An ISTQB certification is a plus
