ABOUT THE JOB:

We are looking for an experienced agile Product Owner to drive the development of Joyn’s Android mobile, Android TV and
Fire TV platforms together with a team of highly skilled engineers, UX designers and researchers, ensuring that
customers are delighted when using our Android apps, no matter when, where, and on what device.

Opportunities to make an impact – what you do

• Work together with engineering and UX in an agile team, write user stories, own the team’s
  backlog, and apply agile best practices to continuously create consumer value together with your team.
• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Android mobile, Android TV, and Fire TV platforms.
• Define, understand, and improve key funnels and metrics that reflect consumer experience.
• Manage requirements, drive cross-functional execution, make thoughtful product decisions along the way, and share insights and results throughout the company.
• Take ownership for millions of streaming lovers and work together with the team to constantly innovate, improve your product, and drive new features to delight our customers.
• Become an authority on your product area and identify areas of opportunity through research and data.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to prioritize backlog around tactical and long-term product goals for an optimal balance of
  new features, core platform capabilities, partnership expectations, bugs and defects in UX, and
  reduction of technical debt.

• Data-minded whenever possible. You understand how your products work and how to measure
  long-term impact. You know every step of the funnel. You can design, run, and interpret experiments
  and A/B tests.
• Curious about technology – You can ask questions that improve your understanding of technical
  concepts and helps technical team members participate in product development.
• Product taste and craftsmanship. You will own interaction and delight for all Android customers
  and should show the attention to detail this responsibility deserves.
• You are a student of influence; people love working with you. You don’t need authority to lead.
• You are not limited by the boundaries of roles, responsibilities or titles.
• Your written and verbal communication is clear and effective.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a product owner/manager in a fast-paced agile software development environment
• Ideally in-depth experience with the Android platform(s)
• Interest in and ideally knowledge of streaming tech and trends in the area
• Consumer-centred and data-driven mindset
• Structured and self-driven working style, eagerness to lear
• Good team working and communication skills, and ability to assert yourself
• Good English language skills – English is our team language
