Senior Automation Software Tester

Following a recent funding round that raised over $9 million, our client continues to chart an independent path toward redefining the crypto wallet experience.
The company’s primary business objective is clear—to surpass Phantom and become the leading Solana wallet worldwide. From a product perspective, the goal is to deliver a crypto experience comparable to Revolut, uniting seamless functionality with a refined and intuitive user interface.
With a team of 80 professionals across Croatia and Serbia, our client is actively expanding across all departments. By year’s end, the company expects to exceed 100 employees, further solidifying its role as a major force in the global blockchain ecosystem.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure efficient and consistent software testing.
- Identify areas for automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and analyze results to report defects and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to improve testability, optimize test coverage, and stay updated on tools and best practices in test automation.
EXPECTATIONS IN FIRST 90 DAYS:
- Be able to take features alone if needed from start to finish (Independant)
- Establish a good communication and cooperation with the entire team
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- No formal education is required for the role, experience can also meet the requirement.
- Preferable fields: Computer Science, Information technology or tech/IT related fields
- Minimum: 3+ years as an automation engineer, and experience with TypeScript or Javascript base frameworks.
- Proficiency with tools like WebdriverIO, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of languages used in automation scripting, preferable Javascript.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions or similar.
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
- Expertise in automation testing web or mobile applications
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to design test cases, identify edge cases and perform exploratory testing
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of testing principles and software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques and best practices
- Flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Average pressure handling
