PR Content Manager - Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functionally and line manage both the press office team as well as the content team to ensure the smooth running of the press office and content flow for all regions.
• Work closely with the head of PR in order to ensure the regional content managers are in keeping with the global PR strategy and are well briefed in advance for upcoming launches, global business announcements and reactive news from within the company.
• Provide solutions and processes for interdepartmental relationships and collaborations in terms of gaining assets, managing photo shoots, etc and become the first point of contact for any internal collabs and projects between the PR content team and other departments.
• Ensure all content managers are delivering regionalized stories within deadline and including full press kits including localized assets and pitching notes.
• Daily management of the press office team, ensuring all local market and external inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and all processes and press office management is efficient.
• Provide solutions for improvement in terms of press office management to aid all global markets can work efficiently and enable them to focus on securing earned PR exposure.
• Conduct weekly WIPS and updates of press office team and content managers to ensure priorities are at the forefront and deadlines are adhered to.
• Become the expert in all resources and software available to the PR team and ensuring all team members are well trained and using all the tools available to them to further strengthen performances (such as Trendkite, GA, etc)
• Provide a monthly content report showcasing results from the regional PR Content managers and a breakdown of stories/content angles for the month.
• Provide a monthly best case example per region for sharing with GMs and other stakeholders.
• Enable the teams to meet their KPIs and provide solutions to ensure they do
• Monthly KPI monitoring for all team members and track progress

REQUIREMENTS:

• A PR Gun; you are energetic, passionate about storytelling, have the ability to adapt to any news
• A highly motivated senior account executive who has been working across many clients in a fast-paced environment (agency experience preferred)
• A proven storyteller. Let us see your last story and show us how much the media picked it up!
• Passion and infectious personality for brand advocacy and building relationships
• BA/MA degree in Communications or Journalism
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar position will be appreciated
• A creative, dynamic, forward-thinking person- a solution solver and a doer
• Understanding the needs of global PR and how to write stories for many regions
• Proactive, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven, but positive attitude
