YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and lead a high-performance team of motivated controllers and cost engineers and act as a sparring partner to support their growth and professional development
• Recruit future team members and create a challenging and attractive working environment
• Act as a finance business partner to support development teams translating development ideas into financially sound and feasible hypercar vehicle projects
• Ensure profitability from the first project idea until end of production
• Set cost/ profit/technical targets, effectively roll them out and constantly challenge Program Management and the Program Team to further optimize the vehicle program
• Derive and negotiate revenue, cost, profit and RoS targets for hypercar vehicle programs with Program Management and Program Team
• Initiate forecast process and perform data-driven program scenario simulations
• Milestone-related tracking of program calculation with monitoring of KPIs such as program profitability, RoS, IRR, NPV, spending patterns, cash flow, etc.
• Have high visibility to top management by regularly presenting target vs. status overviews and being their discussion partner for all program related financial questions during Program Day meeting
• Further drive our value-oriented costing approach by being the initiator and challenger of cost down and/ revenue management measures
• Participate in sourcing committees and involve the entire Program Team into cost compliance thinking
• Propose cost reduction ideas, creating a business case for the implementation
• Help to develop and implement a new cost management process, ensuring that projects are delivered to target and profitability is achieved during all project phases

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• University degree in Finance/ Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 8 – 10 years of experience in multinational automotive OEM/Tier1 in Finance, Program Management, R&D or Procurement or similar
• Relevant proven track record abroad would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
• Well-versed with state-of-the-art controlling and cost engineering tools
• Experience in business case calculation and financial structuring of (vehicle) profitability analyses
• Ability to work in a fast-changing start-up environment and execute with urgency
• Excellent process and structuring skills and high level of dedication and resilience
• Strong analytical, negotiation, process and structuring skills
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
