YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of purchasing professionals to deliver on service, capital acquisitions, and supply chain performance.
• Establish appropriate KPI’s to measure performance improvements and cascade objectives to your team.
• Put in place personnel development, and succession plans.
• Identify suppliers capable of meeting our exacting standards for cost, quality, and performance.
• Lead the selection, nomination and contracting of new suppliers.
• Drive annual cost down programs across the supply chain.
• Drive annual supplier rationalisation programs to reduce supply base complexity and deliver improved cost performance.
• Develop and manage long term supplier relationships based on mutual success.
• Continue to develop and improve procurement processes and systems based on best in practice.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Degree level education
• Experience of leading In-Direct Procurement in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a high pressure, fast paced working environment.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and foster relationships internally and externally
• Working knowledge and proficiency in ERP system and Microsoft Office
• Internal/external customer focused
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Results driven
• Excellent skills in written and spoken English
• Driving licence: B category
