ABOUT THE JOB:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that completes our Ads Engineering Team.
The Ads Engineering team is building the advertising solutions for our streaming app that aggregates
multiple content partners on the German market into one highly personalized user experience
including live streaming, catch-up content and premium subscription-based streaming content.
You will be building services and clients that provide a state of the art ads experience to the user.
You will be able to solve all the engineering challenges that come with scale and diversity of
platforms.

Opportunities to make an impact – what you do
- Help building cutting-edge (video) advertising solutions both on front and backend.
- Onboard into advertising standards, technologies and processes and ultimately achieve a deep understanding of digital advertising.
- Work closely with our Product, UX and Tech departments to architect new features and improve existing implementations.
- Work on a modern tech stack consisting of Gitlab, Typescript, Webpack, NodeJS, AWS and more.
- Continuously identify and resolve technical debt, quality issues and gaps in engineering processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Significant, sound, and proven experience in Typescript
- Proven track record of taking a pragmatic approach while solving problems
- Being a good listener, but also argue for the cause when needed
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to deal with change
- You strive to improve the overall quality and maintainability of the existing code base
- Bonus – If you are familiar with iOS and/or Android development
